Glances At Nature Trips is a fantastic way of not only learning Photography Techniques, it's a great way of learning about our Natural World and enjoying time outside in some amazing places. Basic trips include birding hikes and other day trips. These hikes/trips are a great way of getting the feel for Josh's style of leading and interpretation. Trips of longer length are also offered and for a minimal investment, you can enjoy a trip where everything is taken care of so you can sit back, relax and concentrate on time in the field with no worries. Join Josh on a trip to one of Michigan's most prized areas, Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. This vast area has lots to offer by way of sweeping lakeshore scapes as well as many fall color and macro opportunities along the beaches and inland areas. This trip is all about landscapes and working skills such as creating panoramas in the field, creating multiple exposures in different lighting and working a scene rather than just pointing and shooting. A big aspect to landscapes and color is scouting and searching out spots during the day to be ready for the shot during golden light hours. Lodging is covered in the price. Accommodations will be in the Traverse City, MI area. Car-pooling will be available from the Battle Creek area Friday morning.
